We have some exciting news!!
We received a call from Holt (our placement agency) and they said that Connor's foster mom will be in the Holt office in Eugene, OR for a reception. We were told that several foster moms were coming but only 2 were being honored!! Connor's foster mom is one of the ones that will be honored. We are so excited for her. So they said that we can send pictures or gifts.....but of course I immediately started to look for tickets to fly out to Oregon. So Connor, Grace, Grandma Risher and I are going to fly out to Oregon and be there for the big celebration! It will be so much fun! As we were on the phone with Holt, Connor decided to take his first step...I guess he was excited too!

I was just pushing the next blog button when I came across your blog - what a beautiful family you have! Disneyland must have been crazy fun - I can't wait to take our little guy there for his fourth birthday. Our son is adopted as well!

My father-in-law lives right across the highway from Eugene, OR. Have fun there. He says it is absolutely beautiful!
