Canoe Trip

Our dear friends asked us to go on an afternoon canoe trip. I thought.....hmmm that would be fun! John thought....hmmm 4 of us in one canoe, tipping over, cold water, kids screaming, Krista panicking, John rescuing.....this will never happen!
Well I insisted we go! It was going to be an adventure and boy was it! We had to paddle down the river for 7 1/2 miles. It took us almost 3 hours. Thank goodness we did not flip!
All in all it was an adventure that we will definitely do again. We all had a great time. The rest of the crew wanted to go back to the park and cook dinner.....that was enough outdoors for me for one day....we decided to go through a drive thru! Maybe next time! Lol!
