We are back from Florida! Grace and I went with Grandma and Grandpa Risher to celebrate Great Grandma's (Gi-Gi) 90th birthday!! We had a wonderful visit with the whole gang!

When we got back from Florida Grace started to take her first steps! She is up to about 8 steps now. She will only walk when she wants to walk....so it is very hard to video.


On Wednesday night my sorority sister, Holly stopped by on her way to Nashville. We had so much fun visiting with her.

Grace is now saying many words and can drink from a straw! She loves to say Da-Da. She can also say: Ma-Ma, ball, bubbles, Goldie (our cat), dog. She knows what the cow says and she gives great hugs! She can also wave bye-bye and blow a kiss! We are having so much fun with her! I really don't know how we entertained ourselves before she came into our lives! We are truly blessed!

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! Our weekend started out with a visit from a college friend. Denise, Todd, Mason and Blake stopped by on their way to Disney. We had a great visit with them....but I think they were more excited to go see Mickey Mouse. Blake brought his Incredibles costume and Mason wore his Mickey ears for a picture.

The Easter bunny dropped off a new toy for Grace. It is a blow-up toy filled with
plastic balls to jump in. She has had a great time playing in it. It will be really fun to take it outside to play in this summer.

Pictures are getting harder and harder to take. Grace is really moving now and it is hard to get a picture of her looking up. In reality she is probably tired of having her picture taken. It seems the camera is always out. She is always doing cute things. When we realize we should take a picture it is too late. We were to busy watching what she was doing. I am disappointed we were not able to get a good Easter picture of her. John says every picture is good no matter what she is doing.

She was a little under the weather on Sunday. I think her teeth are coming in because she is really drooling.
