We have had a busy couple of days! Grammy is in town (picture will be posted soon) with Auntie Kay and Aunt Kathy came down for a visit!

There was a major "milestone" last week. Grace finally said DaDa. The three of us were in Tennessee and she was babbling as usual then all of a sudden we heard DaDa. We were amazed. It was awesome!

Halloween was also a real "treat"! Grace was very patient with all of the pictures tonight! We had so much fun dressing her in her costume! She was dressed up like a little fairy. Of course pink. With wings. She was adorable.

Ben and Peyton came over for pictures with Grace on her first Halloween. Ben was a Power Ranger and Peyton was Snow White. It was hard to get a picture because Grace wouldn't stop looking at Snow White and Ben wanted to get outside to get some more candy. We love seeing the 3 of them together. Peyton tells everyone that Grace is her cousin. It is really cute.

Plus a big bonus---She actually scooted forward on her tummy. Twice. We are really close to having a "crawler" in the house. Everyone warns us that our life will drastically change, you know what we say- "Bring it on!"

We have been having trouble posting pictures so that is why it has taken us so long to post....sorry! I know you have been waiting to see the Halloween pic's. We have so many cute pictures so we will post again this week!

Hello Everyone!
Grace is doing great! Her personality is really cute! She has changed so much in a week. Her two bottom teeth have really popped out and she now laughs everytime you tickle her. Grace can now get from a seated position to her stomach. In no time she will be crawling! She has finally figured out how to get a big bounce from her her johnny jumper. She would spend hours in it if she could.
Well the bathroom situation didn't go as planned. The polka dots were very difficult but it turned out really cute. I will take some pictures soon. It is very girly, of course!

Last week we went to Owensboro for our 2nd post placement visit. Can you believe we have been home for 3 months? We will have 1 more visit and then we will finalize! Can't wait!

I am starting to make bows for Grace's hair. Bows are so expensive but they are so cheap to make...and the ribbons are cute, cute, cute!

Last week flew by because Grace and I went on the road with John. On Wednesday we packed our bags and headed down the road to Jackson, TN. Grace did great in the car. We had several deliveries on Wednesday and Thursday and she just sat in the back and enjoyed the ride. The ride down to Jackson is really pretty this time of year. There were acres and acres of cotton being harvested and the leaves were just starting to change. Beautiful! Grace was a known celebrity in Jackson. All of the employees at the hotel knew about Grace and they were very excited to meet her.

This past weekend we spent the weekend at the lake. Now everyone I am sure is asking...."Did Krista actually go camping??" Well I did in a way....this was about the closest that I get to camping. We stayed at Donna and Rudy's cabin which has all of the amenities. We read, fed the fish and relaxed. Saturday morning we got up bright and early to watch for deer and we spotted four. (very exciting!) Saturday afternoon we went on a long hike. So by Sunday I was ready to come home. Camping is exhausting! (ha-ha)

Well I will post more soon.

This past weekend we went to Louisville to visit Kelly and we also went to the Louisville Art Show. What an awesome show! They had over 700 vendors. Grace did great! Here are some pictures of Grace with a hat that my mom bought for her! It is so cute!

Today I was blowing bubbles with my gum and Grace thought it was the funniest thing. I don't think she has ever seen me chewing gum!

I am starting to paint Grace's bathroom...it is going to be pink (of course) with white polka dots. I can't wait to get it done!

Grace has been such a good girl! She has been starting to wave hi and bye. She doesn't know what she is doing but she copies what we do. She hasn't started to crawl yet but if she wants to get somewhere she rolls and rolls.

Hope everyone is doing well!

We had a wonderful weekend! We started the weekend off by going downtown to the International Festival.

It was a great festival but unfortunately it started to rain a little bit...but no worries Grandma and Grandpa Yeric were there to hold and shield the rain from Grace!

Once Grace started to play with her hair brush I knew it was time to get her haircut! Saturday night we went and got Grace's haircut. It is so cute. The hairstylist wanted to give her a haircut that was popular. She wanted to wedge it in the back and leave it a little longer on the sides. It looks adorable.

Grace slept the entire time...it is surprising that it is even. We took a picture with the hairstylist and Grace still slept!

Aunt Kelly came on Sunday evening and stayed until Monday evening. She came to hear Grace say Mama! Well we tried and tried to get Grace to say it. Kelly went to take a shower and Grace said Mama over and over....so Kelly missed it. Then finally at 4:30pm on Monday (2 hours before she left) Grace said Mama over and over! Kelly was so excited!!

Grace can now say ma, pa, ba (we are still working on Dada) She loves to play peek-a-boo and she loves looking at her hands.

Hope everyone is having a good week!
