Okay here are all of the details!

John received the call from Holt this morning around 10:00am. He was on the road doing deliveries in Tennessee when all of a sudden he saw the "magic" number pop up on his cell phone. He was then told by our agency that our precious daughter was ready to be picked up! Our dream has come true! He called me and of course I couldn't concentrate so I left work and started to book our flight. It took me all afternoon to arrange the flight.

Someone has really been watching over us the past couple of weeks. There were so many signs that I never saw. In the past 7 days we finished Grace's room, bought a lap top, (so we can continue to update the site while we are in Korea) and started this blog. Those were 3 things that I wanted to get done before we left for Korea.

So here are the details: We will leave Nashville airport on July 4th at 11:22am arrive in Seoul, Korea on Wednesday at 9:35pm.

To my understanding we will meet Grace on Thursday, have a free day on Friday while they complete her paperwork, and then they will give Grace to us on Monday. On the weekend we will shop and site see.

We will then return on: Tuesday July 11th at 4:09pm.

Thank you to everyone who has been on our journey with us....we couldn't have done it without all of your love and support! We can finally see the finish line....the race for Grace is almost complete! Oh....but don't worry.....I am just getting started on this new blog site! You guys we'll see Grace grow up!

Love,
Our family of 2 soon to be 3!
What are you doing next week????

NEXT WEEK WE ARE LEAVING FOR KOREA!!!!!!
We just got the call!
We will e-mail more later with the exact day!!
So much to do........so little time!!!!

I guess it is my turn to "blog". I never in a million years thought I would be a "blogger"!

Not too much to update on the adoption. We are getting very excited. We are going to get out our suitcases and begin gathering stuff to take on our trip.

When we get the travel call we want to be as ready as possible. If I had my choice we would leave for Korea the day they call. Unfortunately that is probably impossible. We are patiently waiting for the call. Well, not really patiently. We are on pins and needles. We know we are still at least a few weeks away, but when I am at work and my phone rings, the first thing I do is check the Caller ID to see the area code. I have Eugene, OR area code memorized. I think when I finally see it I will probably have a heart attack. Hopefully the call comes late in the day because I know I won't be able to get any more work done!

Everyone asks us about what we have had to do the past few months to adopt Grace. I think I will try to give everyone the "short" version of what we have done since March 13 when we submitted our application to Holt International. I will post again soon.
Talk to you soon. John

John and I are starting this site so everyone can enjoy our awesome adventure to get our precious daughter. We are hoping to e-mail pictures and info when we are in Korea.

Current News:
John and I are anxiously awaiting our travel call. Last week we received an update that Grace's EP (one way passport) is being processed. The EP will probably take 3-4 weeks and then Holt will call us with our travel date. Stay tuned for more info.
