I have finally learned how to use my Photoshop Elements....well sort of. I still have a lot to learn. Many of the blogs that I look at daily have these cute headers......I have been trying and trying to do one for this blog.

We are back from vacation! We had a great time!
The highlight of Grace's first visit to the beach wasn't the sand or the water or the seashells, it was the birds. Grace absolutely loved the seagulls. She would stop whatever she was doing to look, reach for and yell at the birds.

Also before we left for vacation we found out we finally have Grace's finalization hearing date scheduled!

We are so excited to do the last part of Grace's paperwork! We will now be
able to request a birth certificate and social security card for her. The
world will now know her as Grace Eugenia Yeric!

We had such a fun filled weekend! On Thursday night we ate dinner with the Maxwell's. I have so much fun playing with Peyton and Ben! On Saturday we went up to Rudy and Donna's cabin. I fed the fish.....and myself. I couldn't decide if the crackers were for me or the fish. When the crackers ran out I thought the fish food looked tasty. So needless to say Mommy and Daddy were fishing the fish pellets out of my mouth.
Then on Sunday, Daddy and I decided to sleep in while Mommy went to church. Then we spent all day outside. We put in a little garden. Boy do I love to play in the dirt! Daddy would spread the dirt, then I would spread the dirt. I wanted to do everything he was doing. I helped him dig the holes for the plants. But every once in a while I would sit in the hole. Mommy and Daddy sure laughed at that. Lots of fun!! I am so glad it is summer time!!!

Can you believe it has been a year this week since we sent out this e-mail.......

Hello Everyone!

We are just sending a quick email to give everyone an adoption update. It has been a long 16 months (and we mean LONG) of adoption ups and downs. People have always told us to be patient, and "things happen for a reason". As some of you know we decided in March to switch from the Ukraine to Korea to adopt a baby. Well.... that decision has paid off. We are proud to announce that we are going to be parents!!!!! We just got the call tonight. We are adopting a beautiful baby girl. Grace Eugenia is 11 weeks old and is perfect. And we think the cutest little girl ever!! We want to thank everyone for all of their support, prayers and well wishes over the past year or so. We know that if it wasn't for all of our family and friends we would have never made it.

Wow! Our lives have really changed in just one year! We love Grace so much and couldn't imagine our lives without her! We have truly been blessed!

Yeah!! Mommy and Daddy bought me a sandbox today!

Sand is so much fun!!
