We had another wonderful shower this past weekend. Grace was showered with books from friends! Sam loved reading books to Grace.

This week Grace, my mom and I went to visit Kelly for a few days. We shopped until we dropped!

On Wednesday I felt Grace's bottom teeth starting to pop out! She is getting so big! My mom taught her how to give hugs. It is so cute! Now she is working on kisses!

Hope everyone had a great week...we did! Krista

Boy how Friday nights have changed for us! We went swimming! It was so fun to see Grace in the water...as you can tell by the picture she really didn't know what to think. For the majority of the time she had her finger in her mouth.

Grace loved to float on her back.

One quick note: Grace had an adorable 2 piece bathing suit but the top did not fit. So we just wore the bottoms. I would love to find her a waterproof bow for her hair!

Wow that was fun!

Grace loves peas!

Tonight we went down to Eugene and Sherry's house to eat dinner. Peyton fed Grace peas....and she loved them!

This week we started a playgroup at the local baptist church. It is every Wednesday from 10:00-11:30am. Tomorrow we are going to go to Peek-A-Book Baby at the library.
Stories, rhymes and play time fun will all be included! So as you can see we are starting to fill up our week with activities. Grace and I are having so much fun during the day but when John comes home she is reaching for him to hold her!

We are going to try and go swimming this weekend so stay tuned for more pictures!

Grace received her permanent resident card yesterday in the mail. She is officially a resident of the United States. This card will be used to get her social security card. We are one step closer to finalization!! She is our "All American Baby!"

We had another wonderful weekend! My friend (and John's cousin) Kate came for a visit! We had a great time just hanging out and playing with Grace! Grace really loves Kate! She just smiled and smiled when Kate would talk to her!

Grace is really starting to love bathtime! She kicks her legs and splashes the water!

Here is Grace's cousin, Zachary. He bought this outfit for Grace.....the hat is so cute!

Can you believe we have been home for 1 month! John and I feel like we have been home for 6 months. Our lives have really changed in one month and Grace has changed so much!
She is still enjoying her banana rice cereal and this week I am going to start her on stage one food. John asked me why I am rushing the food....I don't think he is ready for Grace to grow up! Last night (around 4:00am) Grace woke up and turned onto her stomach and then rolled again onto her back! That was the first time that she went from stomach to back! I ran into our bedroom and woke John up to tell him!

Here is the one month comparison. The first picture was taken when we were in Korea. The second picture is one month later. It is amazing how she actually interacts with the toys on her walker. When we were in Korea she just looked at the toys on the walker now she is touching them and playing with them.

Well hope everyone is doing well! Hope you love the pictures as much as we do!

Grace turned 6 months today!

This week we received a welcome home letter for Grace from the government. They have received her immigrant visa packet and they will be notifying us in 30 days.
We also received 2 pictures of Grace with her foster mom from Holt. They were so cute. Grace sure has changed!

Scooter came home this past weekend! We are so happy that he is home! He came in a little tuxedo shirt with a top hat!

Today I had to take Grace to the doctor. She had her 6 month shots. It was hard for me but even harder for Grace. My mom came along for support. Actually my mom was holding my hand and I was holding Grace's hand as they gave her the shots. Grace also had a cold. Here is a picture of her with her 2 band-aids on both legs and cotton in both ears. (and no bow! Wow she must really be sick!)

Dr. Paul said that we should start to give Grace rice cereal. As you can tell by the picture she loved it!

This is a picture shortly after the cereal! One minute I heard her playing and then the next minute she was asleep! Wow that cereal really wore her out! I should have given it to her months ago! Ha-Ha!
That is all for now. I will write more soon!
