Grace loves to take her clothes out of her dresser.












This week at school her teacher said that the girls had a little tea party with Cheerios. I think she really likes going to school. The other day I asked her a couple of questions about school....




Krista: Did you have a fun day at school today?
Grace: No
Krista: Did you play with the kids?
Grace: No
Krista: Did you have a tea party with the girls?
Grace: No
Krista: Were you a good girl?
Grace: YES

We are still practicing 5 letters A,B,C,M, and O. She recognizes the shapes oval and star.

Grace started Parents Day Out this week!! Her teacher, Ms. Kelly said that she did great! We got a report both days saying that she was playful, happy and she even winked at her teacher. We are so proud of her. On Wednesday morning I asked her if she wanted to go to school and she said, "School!" then I asked her if she wanted to go see the kids and she said, "Kids!"...so I knew it was going to be a good day. Well after we got home from school I asked her if she had a good day at school and she said, "No" then I asked her if she played with the kids and she said, "No". I know that she had a good time although she said no.

Grace has been repeating everything we say. It is amazing how quickly she picks up on stuff. Today, John had a WKU shirt on she pointed to the K and made the sound of the K. This stage is so fun....we enjoy teaching her new things every day.


Tonight we finally got to play in the sandbox and run around in the sprinkler while eating a tomato from the garden. The temperatures have been so hot that we haven't gone outside.

Wow what a week we have had!! This was the week that Grace was supposed to start Parents Day Out...well Tuesday came and Grace had a low grade fever. So off to the doctor we went. The fever past and then Grammy and Aunt Jane came for a visit. So I couldn't send her to Parents Day Out while her Grammy was in town. So we are going to start fresh this week! (I promise!!)

We also changed around the bedrooms to make a playroom for Grace. It has turned out great. We have all of her toys in one spot now.

Grace had so much fun with Grammy and Aunt Jane. Grace showed them all of her tricks!

There's nothing quite like cold watermelon on a hot day! Hope everyone is staying cool! Grace's favorite fruit this week is watermelon. She runs to the refrigerator saying Ma-Ma. At first I thought she was calling me Ma-Ma....but it was watermelon. I'm still Mi-Mi.

Last week Grace and I made tie dye t-shirts with Mom's Club. I thought they turned out pretty cute!
