This picture says it all!! Grace could not wait to go to school today. We had orientation yesterday, Grace was able to meet her 2 teachers and some of her new classmates. We talked Sunday night all about how she was going to go to school today. When she woke up I asked her who she was going to see today and she told me her teacher. We got to school and she only cried for about 5 minutes. Connor starts school tomorrow. Connor and I will spend Mondays together and then on Tuesdays and Thursdays Grace and Connor will both be in school. I will post more pictures tomorrow of Connor's big day! Connor had no problems at orientation on Sunday. He went right in the classroom and started playing with the toys.
Connor is really starting to talk now. Some of the words that he is saying are: up, hold you, apple, please, Scooter, dog, dada, mama, milk, shoes, and red. He is listening to more books. For a while he didn't want to listen to us read to him but now he is listening to us read about 10 board books in one sitting. He is trying to sing some of the songs that Grace sings. He knows where his nose, ears, eyes, hair, mouth and toes are. We have been working on animal sounds. He loves to meow like a cat. He also woofs like a dog. It is so cute!
I missed Grace like crazy today.....I can't imagine what tomorrow will feel like when I won't have Grace or Connor for 5 hours.
