We have been doing so many fun things that it is hard to keep up let alone remember to blog it! Last night we went to the Train Depot and heard the story Polar Express. It was really exciting for Grace and Connor because we were able to board the train and listen to the story in the dining hall of the train. It was a lot of fun....but of course I forgot my camera....but wait!!....the newspaper was there and they took Grace's picture....she is in the Daily News today! Grace and Connor are so excited for Christmas. We have had a great couple of weeks making Christmas cookies with Grandma's, having breakfast with Santa, and getting the perfect pictures for our Christmas cards. It seems like every night we are doing something. It will be nice to have some free time in January.
Grace had her Christmas program today at school so check back to see the video....it was so cute!

Connor is Officially Ours!
Well Thursday was a very big day for our family. We had court to finalize Connor's adoption. What a great day. Both Connor and Grace were very very good. We are so lucky. After court we went to lunch with Grandpa and Grandma Yeric and Grandpa and Grandma Risher. Connor calls them PaPa and BaBa. Really cute. We are very thankful to have this done. It is hard to believe Connor and has been home for almost a year. And even more amazing Grace has been home for almost 2 1/2 years. Boy how time flies. We can't even remember what it was like to not have them.
We are getting ready for Christmas. Trees are up. We even put lights outside this year. Every time we drive by Christmas lights the kids get really excited. Grace will yell "my side" or "Connor's side".....and then say, "It's Christmas!" Then Connor usually says "Woooooow". Not sure what it will be like when the lights are taken down after Christmas.
Connor tested out of speech therapy....it was such a quick 6 months. He tested at a 2 1/4 year old. So in just 6 months he went from an 8 month old level to a 2 1/4 year old level. We are very proud of him but hate that we are losing our speech therapist.
