Here is another dress/shirt that I made for Gracie! I think it turned out pretty cute considering I had to take it apart about 5 times.
Grace and Connor are enjoying school. Everyday they have a unique snack at school. Today they had smoothies with cucumber and apples in it. Grace said that she liked it.....I was surprised! I may have to try and make it at home.

Gracie slept in her bed 5 night in a row!!! YEAH!!! She chose to get a pair of Twinkle Toes shoes as her reward. Connor is really wanting a pair of Twinkle Toes for boys. We told him he has to have 5 good days at school. He has to listen to the teachers, line up quietly, and pay attention at circle time. We will see how he does this week. We may be buying another pair of Twinkle Toes this weekend. :)



I have been so excited to finish Connor's superhero cape. It is reversible. One side of the cape is batman and the other side is superman. I thought it was so fun! Connor tried it on for 3 seconds and then took it off! Can I please have a child that enjoys my sewing!!

I am loving my new sewing/embroidery machine. I have made several things so far. I have so many fun ideas to make but there is just not enough time in the day! I have also made the kids backpacks with their names on them. I will post that picture soon!

Our first day of school was a success! School has started and everyone is doing very well. It was a long hot summer and I believe everyone was ready to go back.
Grace has told us she is on the "blue" workbook at school. She is reading and actually has spelling words! Connor has been working very hard all summer. He had some trouble with the "c" sound and just before school started he was able to say the "c" sound. He also knows the sounds of half the alphabet.

We ordered Connor a bunkbed! He is so excited to get a big boy bed. He asks us every night if we ordered his big boy bed. I will be so sad when we don't have a crib in the house. :(
