Fun times at Grandma and Grandpa Yeric's house!

This past weekend Grace spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa Yeric. They had a ball trying on halloween costumes.

Grace was also allowed to play with her food at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Tonight we went on our first bike ride! Grace loved it! She just sat and looked around.

We are still practicing crawling and saying DaDa! Grace watches our lips move when we say DaDa....she wants to say it. She is getting stronger each day.....soon she will be crawling!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

We have had a another great week! Grace can now say mama! So you know that made my week! I was so excited! We are still working on saying dada!

On Tuesday we went to see Kelly in Louisville. We had a great time shopping and hanging out with Aunt Kelly.

On Thursday Grace had her 7 month check up with shots. YIKES did she scream for her Mama! Grace is getting so big. She has grown so much that we need to change the carseat in John's truck. Her length is now 27 inches and 16 lbs 14 oz.

Grace and Scooter are getting along great! She loves Scooter, not sure if Scooter is really into her. As you can see by the picture Goldie loves Grace too....well actually Goldie just loves Grace's stroller.

We are teaching Grace how to do eskimo kisses. She thinks it is so funny....it must tickle her nose.

This week we started something new and messy! Fresh Bananas! As you can see by the pictures we place the banana in this mesh bag and she sucks the banana out of it. She loves it! We can also put fresh cooked veggies in it too!

Where did my banana go?

"Date" Night
Grace and I had our first date this Friday. Krista went to the Parade of Homes with some friends so Grace and I went out on the town. We were going to the St. Joe's Spaghetti Dinner. It was very busy. We stayed for a little bit and talked to some friends. Then we headed to Target. It was funny at Target, I think Grace finally realized Krista was not with us. I think she was a little confused. We made it. No problem.
Then on Saturday, Krista went to check out a few more houses and Grace and I went to see Grandma and Grandpa Yeric. Grace had fun spending some time with them. After that we got back together with Krista and met some friends at WKU to tailgate before the football game. We had a great time.
Unfortunately we didn't have the camera at all this weekend.
But here is a picture from this morning. She is eating a piece of banana for the first time all by herself. New and very exciting.
Thanks for still checking the blog. We will keep everyone updated as often as we can.

Grace loves her rubber ducky....actually she loves to chew on his tail. She wouldn't let it go and she thought that it was so funny. Grace was splashing in her tub and you could see that she was smiling with the duck in her mouth.

Hope this picture made your day....I know it made mine!

Are you ready for some football?

We Are!! This past Sunday we took the crew down for the first Titan's home game! Grace did great! She slept most of the time. The first quarter was very hot. She had a bottle the second quarter and by the third quarter she was asleep. What a game.....it was a blow out until the last quarter. Of course I was ready to go by the third quarter, but then the Titan's woke up and started to play football....so of course we stayed to cheer our team on!

As you can see Grace's hair is getting long.....so now she can wear pig tails! I love them!

This past week we have had so much fun with Grammy. We were busy everyday. The professional pictures turned out great! I was really surprised.

This week I was supposed to go back to Greenview Hospital but I decided to stay home for a while with Grace. I couldn't imagine leaving Grace in daycare all day. She does something new everyday. I miss her when she is taking a nap....I couldn't imagine working 8 hours without her. She is so sweet in the morning. She gives hugs when you pick her up from her crib and then she is all smiles until her nap in the morning. It is wonderful.....I love being a mom!

Well hope everyone is still enjoying seeing pictures of our sweet little girl! I wish everyone could spend a day with her. It has been a life changing experience for us.

Grace was baptized on Saturday! It was a wonderful evening. Grace was such a good little girl for the ceremony.

We were so honored to have Rudy and Donna as Grace's godparents. They have played such an important roll in our lives as well as Grace's.

Grammy came from Ohio to celebrate Grace's baptism and visit for the week. Grace has had so much fun with her Grammy!

Aunt Kelly has enjoyed doing Grace's hair and teaching her how to play the piano. (Kelly are you just trying to get out of doing the dishes?)

Monday we had professional pictures taken. We could not get Grace to smile for any of the pictures. When we came home Grace was full of smiles for her Grammy.

We have had a busy week! Grace's Great Grandmother Ellen and Great Aunt Nancy came for a visit from Florida.

We have been busy preparing for Grace's baptism.

Grace has been grabbing and reaching for everything. She loves to eat like a big girl! She had peach cobbler and dutch apple pie for the first time this week. Yum!
